It has been announced that popular voice actress Akari Kito, known for her role as Nezuko Kamado in the anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, will be appearing on BS-TBS's ramen documentary program Taberu Ramen. The program closely follows the daily life of a popular ramen shop, with cameras following the shop from early morning preparations until closing time, and at the end, ramen-loving celebrities silently savor a bowl of ramen that is filled with the owner's feelings. Kito will appear in the 12th episode, which will air on September 24th at 11pm. She will visit Ginza Hachigo, which opened in Ginza, Tokyo in 2018. Kito commented, "I've loved ramen so much that I made my own instant noodles from a young age and ate them every week. After moving to Tokyo, I worked part-time at a ramen shop to get the staff meal. The Ginza Hachigo that I visited this time serves innovative and unconventional ramen, and I think it will be fresh even for people who have tried a variety of ramen! I hope you will pay close attention to it." The show will be broadcast every Tuesday at 11pm for four consecutive weeks from September 17th to October 8th. Also appearing on the show will be model and actor Nashiko Momotsuki, Haru Okubo from the global boy band DXTEEN, and former TV Tokyo announcer Kasumi Mori.
