Dear Radiance (Hikaru Kimi e)：10 characters turned into anime characters; special anime program in collaboration with "Ojarumaru"; "Kikyou" First Summer Uika "Excited"

It has been revealed that the special anime program "Heiancho Relaxed Holiday", a collaboration between the NHK Taiga drama "Dear Radiance (Hikaru Kimi e)" (General TV, Sunday 8pm and others), starring Yoshitaka Yuriko, and the popular TV anime "Ojarumaru" currently airing on NHK Educational TV, will be broadcast on Educational TV from 4:35pm on October 19th. A total of 10 characters from "Hikaru Kimi e" have been made into anime characters, and they will cause chaos in "Heiancho", the hometown of "Ojarumaru", the main character of "Ojarumaru", Sakanoue Ojarumaru.

First Summer Uika, who plays Kikyou/Sei Shonagon in "Hikaru Kimi e", commented, "This dream collaboration has come true! All the characters look so lifelike that I was very excited and got goosebumps. I have previously voiced in "Ojarumaru", but dubbing while wearing the character in "Hikaru Kimi e" was a whole different kind of challenge and fun. And fans have been waiting for it (?) to see the two Sei Shonagons, Osei Shonagon and Kikyou, meet! It's going to be a very exciting scene. It was also like a dream to be able to dub with Fairouz Ai, who I've been a fan of for a long time! Please look forward to it!"

Fairouz Ai, who plays Osei Shonagon in "Ojarumaru", said, "I've always loved First Summer Uika's fashion and mindset, and I felt a one-sided affinity with her because we both play Sei Shonagon and have similar names, so I was really happy to be able to work with her through this dubbing session! We couldn't stop talking in between recordings, and it was a really fun time. Osei Shonagon is usually called a demon, but this time you'll see a side of her that you don't usually see, like having fun girl talk, so please look forward to it!" She appealed to viewers.

"Ojarumaru x Hikaru Kimi e Collaboration Special "Heiancho Relaxed Holiday" is a holiday where Ojarumaru returns to Heiancho with Kazuma, but is chased by his fiancee Okamehime, his tutor Akamurasaki Shikibu, and Osei Shonagon and the others. Then suddenly, the sky goes dark... A solar eclipse has occurred in Heiancho. As the light comes over the area, Ojarumaru sees a pair of elegant aristocrats standing in front of him. Their names are Fujiwara no Kinto and Fujiwara no Sadayoshi. They seem to have wandered from their original home of Heian-kyo to Heian-cho. Ojarumaru decides to help Kinto and Sadayoshi find their way back to Heian-kyo. Meanwhile, Denbo meets Otomaru and Mozuhiko, the Oni Trio meets Abe no Seimei, and Okamehime, Akamurasaki Shikibu and Osei Shonagon meet Kikyo... and so on.

In addition to First Summer Uika from "To You Who Shines," Yoshitaka, Emoto Tasuku, Machida Keita, Akiyama Ryuji, Watanabe Daichi, Kaneda Tetsu, Yabe Taro, Honda Riki and Yusuke Santamaria will also appear.

Director Daichi Heitarou, who worked on the animation, said, "Everyone watching the taiga drama 'To You, the Hikaru Kimi e' has gotten lost in the Heiancho of the anime 'Ojarumaru.' That's what I said in Denbo's style. Kikyou, Otomaru, Mozuhiko, Kinto, Sadanobu, Yukinari, Sanesuke and Seimei meet Ojarumaru, Denbo and the trio of little demons... what will happen?
