It has been announced that a fourth season, "Final Season," of the TV anime "Oshi no Ko," based on the popular manga serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha), will be produced. A Teaser trailer and a visual announcing the production of the fourth season have been released. The production of the fourth season was announced when the final episode of the third season, episode 35, "That Was the Beginning," aired as a one-hour special on March 25th.
"Oshi no Ko " is a popular manga series created by Aka Akasaka , author of " Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, " and Mengo Yokoyari , author of " Scum's Wish ," which was serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" from April 2020 to November 2024. It tells the story of twin siblings left behind by the sudden death of genius idol Ai. The twin sister, Ruby, enters the entertainment industry aspiring to be like her mother, while her brother, Aqua, vows revenge to find the person who murdered Ai. The manga has sold over 25 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2023, and the second season aired from July to October 2024. Its live-action adaptation also garnered attention. The third season of the TV anime began airing in January and concluded on March 25th.
