It has been revealed that the box office revenue of the latest movie version of the popular anime series "KING OF PRISM", "KING OF PRISM -Dramatic PRISM.1-", has exceeded 300 million yen. The movie was released on August 16th and has been a hit, attracting more than 1.44 million viewers. From October 25th, the movie will also be screened in 4DX, Screen X, and ULTRA 4DX.
As the seventh special gift for moviegoers, it was also announced that from October 11th, "George ga Ippai Assortment Cards" featuring CG live cuts of Takadanobaba George, the first Prism Champ in the movie, will be given away to moviegoers.
"King & Prince" is a spin-off of the TV anime "Pretty Rhythm: Rainbow Live" which aired from April 2013 to March 2014, and depicts the dedication of Kamihama Kouji, Hayami Hiro, Nishina Kazuki and others to singing and performing. The animated film versions of "KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm" and "KING OF PRISM -PRIDE the HERO-" were released in 2016 and 2017, respectively. In 2019, "KING OF PRISM -Shiny Seven Stars-" was broadcast as a TV anime, and an edited version was released in theaters.
The new film will be the first theatrical release in about four years since "KING OF PRISM ALL STARS-All Star☆Best Ten-" was released in January 2020, and will reconstruct "KING OF PRISM -Shiny Seven Stars-" with new parts added.
