Actor Shun Oguri appeared on stage on the opening day of his starring movie "Frontline" (directed by Mitsutoshi Sekine) in Tokyo on June 13th, along with his co-stars Tori Matsuzaka, Sosuke Ikematsu, Yosuke Kubozuka, Nana Mori, and Yuki Sakurai.
"Frontline" is the first Japanese film to be based on an original script and a fact-based story about the COVID-19 pandemic that humanity has experienced on a global scale. The film is set on the luxury cruise ship "Diamond Princess," which arrived at Yokohama Port on February 3, 2020 and was the first to experience a mass infection of COVID-19 in Japan, and depicts the events that took place from that day until February 21, when all passengers had disembarked.
