An event commemorating the 30th anniversary of the founding of Satelight, an anime production company known for the "Macross" anime series, will be held on February 11th at Tachikawa Stage Garden (Tachikawa, Tokyo). The event will feature a newly written reading of a play based on the "Macross" and "Aquarion" series, and it has been announced that Megumi Nakajima, who plays Ranka Lee in "Macross Frontier," and Takuma Terashima, who plays the protagonist Apollo in "Genesis of Aquarion," will appear.
The event will bring together the passion of creators, including voice actors from the "Macross" and "Aquarion" series produced by Satelight, and Shoji Kawamori, the theme song artist for classic anime, in a new form. It will consist of a new reading drama part and a live performance part showcasing famous songs from anime produced by Satelight.
