It has been announced that the manga adaptation of Sakakibara Monsho's novel, "Reincarnated Elf Who Mastered Magic and Embarked on a Journey, Becoming a Living Legend with His Excessive Lifespan" (Starts Publishing), will be made into a TV anime and will air in 2027. The story depicts the journey of Reese, who, after a sudden accident ends her ordinary life, is reincarnated as an elf with a lifespan of 1000 years. The anime will be directed by Inaba Yuki and produced by Studio Palette. It has also been announced that voice actor Daiki Yamashita will play the role of Reese, and Hana Hishikawa will play the role of Minori, a girl Reese meets on his journey.
Yamashita commented, "I am honored to be able to walk alongside Reese on his journey through life. In this work, time progresses in elf time. Because of this, there are things that can be seen and felt, and behind the dazzling magic and flashy action there are struggles that only an elf can face. I hope you will witness the testament to his life!"
Hishikawa said, "Minori is a very energetic girl who loves Reese very much. Just like Minori, I hope to convey my sincere feelings for the work to everyone through my voice. Reese and I will do our best together, so please enjoy their warm bond when you watch the broadcast. Thank you!!"
