The talk variety show "Weekly Sanma and Matsuko Special Edition" (TBS), hosted by Akashiya Sanma and Matsuko Deluxe, will air on June 18th at 10 PM.
On this day, titled "The Most Dangerous Generation of the Showa Era: A Gathering Special for Those Born in '72," guests will include Noriaki Kasai, Kendo Kobayashi, Takanohana Koji, Hikaru Nishida, Eriko Watanabe of "Asagaya Sisters," all born in 1972, and special guest Raul from "Snow Man."
1972 was a baby boom year, with over 2 million births, more than three times the current number. The rapid increase in the number of children was overwhelming, with elementary schools being built in prefabricated buildings, and the schoolyards becoming completely filled during jump rope lessons.
Matsuko recalled, "Because there were so many of us, our generation wasn't treated with the same care." Guests shared unbelievable facts about those born in 1972, such as "eating tomatoes with sugar" and "ashtrays being placed in high schools," leaving Raoul, born in 2003, shocked.
