It has been announced that Jiro Sugiura's manga "The Fake Alchemist" (KADOKAWA), which garnered attention as an independent work, will be adapted into a TV anime. The manga features Paracelsus, who is reincarnated in another world and becomes an alchemist, as the protagonist. The commercial version, illustrated by Umemaru, has also been popular, with cumulative sales of the comic books exceeding 1 million copies. The anime will be produced by Passione.

A teaser visual and PV have been released. The PV shows the production process of Nora's visual, which was created by Umemaru based on Sugiura's rough sketches, and then animated by Passione.
"The Fake Alchemist" tells the story of Paracelsus, who is reincarnated in another world and makes a living as an alchemist while hiding his cheat skills. His life takes a dramatic turn when he makes a contract with Nora, a slave and sorceress, and meets Coco, an elf who has been deprived of her limbs and all senses. What began as an attempt to save Coco in his small workshop eventually escalates into a battle involving alchemy, sorcery, the universe, and even gods.
