The main promotional video for the TV anime "The World's Strongest Rearguard ~A New Explorer in the Labyrinth Kingdom~," based on a popular light novel from the novel submission site "Shosetsuka ni Naro," has been released on YouTube. The video begins with the protagonist, Arihito, being reincarnated and choosing his profession in the Labyrinth Kingdom, and includes exciting battle scenes where party members use their skills to fight monsters, as well as scenes depicting their daily lives with their companions.
A special program, "World's Strongest Rearguard ~New Explorers of the Labyrinth Kingdom~ Pre-Broadcast Special," will be streamed on ABEMA from 9 PM on June 27th. The program will feature Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Aoi Koga as Theresia, Sakura Nakamura as Kyoka, Saori Hayami as Suzuna, and Kaede Hondo as Misaki.
"The World's Strongest Rearguard" is a light novel by Towa. It depicts the growth of the protagonist, Arihito, who is reincarnated in the Labyrinth Kingdom, as he becomes the strongest support class, the "Rearguard," capable of attacking, defending, and healing, alongside a cast of unique heroines. The manga adaptation has also gained popularity, and the series has sold over 2.6 million copies in total.
The anime will be directed by Yuji Yanase and produced by MAHO FILM. It will begin airing on TOKYO MX and other channels from July 5th.
