It has been announced that the theatrical version of the anime "The Irregular at Magic High School: The Girl Who Calls the Stars," based on the popular light novel series "The Irregular at Magic High School " from Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA), will be broadcast on BS11 at midnight on January 1, 2026. It has also been announced that the third season of the TV anime will be broadcast on BS11 every Sunday at midnight starting from January 4, 2026.
"The Irregular at Magic High School" is set in the National Magic University Affiliated First High School (Magic High School), which trains magic users, and depicts the exploits of siblings Tatsuya Shiba and Miyuki. The total number of copies of the series published is over 25 million.
The first season of the TV anime aired in 2014, and the movie version of The Irregular at Magic High School : The Girl Who Calls the Stars was released in 2017. The second season of the TV anime , The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc, aired in 2020, and The Irregular at Magic High School High School: Reminiscence Arc aired on January 1, 2022. The third season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2024. It has also been announced that the movie version The Irregular at Magic High School : The Yotsuba Succession will be released in 2026.
