It has been announced that a special feature on the iconic British rock band Pink Floyd will be broadcast and streamed on WOWOW Live and WOWOW On Demand on December 28th.
Pink Floyd, formed in 1965, is a progressive rock band that has released a number of albums with innovative concepts since the 1970s, and is still popular around the world today, having a huge influence on subsequent generations.
Starting with "Western Music Pink Floyd" at 1:30 p.m. on the 28th, the program will air consecutive shows including "Pink Floyd at Pompeii," the legendary 1971 live concert at the ruins of Pompeii in Italy (2:15 p.m.), "Pink Floyd Live in New York 1988 - Delicate Sound of Thunder," a performance by the newly formed Pink Floyd in 1988 (3:45 p.m.), and "Pink Floyd: Letters to Syd Barrett - The Truth About Crazy Diamond" (6 p.m.), a film about Syd Barrett, a central figure in the early days of Pink Floyd.
