The official trailer for the all-new movie version of the anime " Assassination Classroom " based on the popular manga by Yusei Matsui , " Assassination Classroom: Everyone's Time," was released on YouTube on December 15th. The new movie will be released on the 10th anniversary of the end of the TV anime broadcast and the end of the original manga serialization. The trailer begins with the tagline "Classes begin for the first time in 10 years," and depicts "the days of Class 3-E that you've never seen before." A poster visual featuring the students of Class 3-E was also released, along with the tagline "With 10 years' worth of love."
The trailer shows Class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Junior High School, with just 15 days left until the deadline to assassinate Korosensei, and graduation fast approaching. The students look back on the intense days they spent with Korosensei in this classroom. It depicts a mysterious lesson where a mermaid teaches them how to swim, an explosion of artistic expression as each student's individuality unleashes, a revenge plan that utilizes the skills they've cultivated through assassination, and a bittersweet yet frustrating Valentine's Day event.
It was also announced that singer-songwriter Sora Tomonari will be performing the theme song "Teacher." Tomonari performed the first opening theme, "Yellow Light," for the rebroadcast of "Assassination Classroom." "Assassination Classroom is an important work that colored my elementary and middle school days. Following the opening theme for the rebroadcast this spring, I am extremely honored to now be performing the theme song for the film. As a student who grew up with Class E, I wrote this song as a way of giving back to Korosensei. It all started with the idea of 'what would it be like if Korosensei were to write down his daily life in Class E in a diary?' I would be happy if people listen to this song while thinking of Korosensei and the other students in Class E, as well as their own teacher," he said.
The second series of movie ticket cards for the film will be released on December 19, 2025. Four designs for the bonus illustrated cards have been revealed. Each card depicts a scene from the youth of Class 3-E. It was also announced that the album " Assassination Classroom 10th Anniversary Music Collection," which includes music from the TV anime series and the film " Assassination Classroom 365 Days of Time," will be released on March 18, 2026.
