Actor Sawa Suzuki will appear on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will be broadcast at 1:00 p.m. on December 16th.
He is the type of person who, once he starts something, sticks with it steadily for a long time, and recently he has become passionate about "pilgrimages to Ise Shrine." Making a vow at Ise Shrine also gives him the motivation to step up. He also talks about his feelings for the late Yoko Nogiwa, whom he met in his twenties and learned a lot from.
His parents divorced when he was a child, and he lived with his mother. In his 30s, he built a house in Hamamatsu, partly to create a place for his mother. He reveals that taking out the longest loan to build a house also motivated him to work. He visited his parents' house with his mother for the first time this year, and he recalls something that moved him.
