The final episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama "The Royal Family" (Sunday 9:00 PM), starring Satoshi Tsumabuki, was broadcast on December 14th. The scene in which Tsumabuki's character, Kurisu, becomes deeply moved as he thinks about Kozo (Koichi Sato), who dreams of winning the Arima Kinen, brought tears to the eyes of viewers.

Kurisu and Koichi (Ren Meguro) finally take to the stage at the Arima Kinen.
In the final stretch of the race, Royal Family took the lead, but with less than 200 meters to go, Big Hope, the team formed by Kozo and Shiina (played by Sawamura Kazuki), made an astonishing final burst of speed and caught up with them.
The two Royal Hope offspring were side by side just before the finish line. Kurisu burst into tears and said, "President, your horses... your children are here..."
