The seventh episode of the TBS Tuesday drama "Jaa, Anta ga Tsukutte Miro yo It" (Tuesdays at 10 PM), co-starring Kaho and Takeuchi Ryoma, aired on November 18th. The scene in which Ebihara Katsuo (Takeuchi) talks about why he fell in love with his ex-girlfriend Yamagishi Ayumi (Kaho) was well-received.

Katsuo and Ayumi return to Oita and attend a family reunion that their parents had secretly planned. Having been unable to tell their parents that they had already broken up, they decide to explain the situation at the reunion.
Ayumi's older sister, Sayori (Kikuchi Akiko), also attended the meeting. Katsuo tries to bring up the topic of breaking up several times, but just can't find the right timing. When Ayumi's father, Shoji (Hoshida Hidetoshi), arrives late, an argument breaks out at the Yamagishi household, and Ayumi's mother, Takae (Shuhama Harumi), wrings her hands and says, "If my marriage to Katsuo falls through... Ayumi is really a hopeless girl."
Seeing Ayumi looking sad, Katsuo retorted, "It's not hopeless." With tears in his eyes, Katsuo rattled off, "Ayumi is someone who can live a good life without marrying someone like me. She's someone who can stand on her own two feet and make her own choices, even if no one else chooses her. After all, she's a great cook, does housework, works, and is strong."
He then declared, "No matter what happens, she always tries to do something about it with her own hands. That's why I fell in love with Ayumi."
On social media, many people commented, "The moment Katsuo said, 'It's not hopeless,' I burst into tears," "Katsuo's words... they really hit me," "I'm sure Ayu-mero was relieved that he conveyed his feelings so clearly and understood," and "The scene where Katsuo protected Ayu-mero was so heartwarming, it was the best."
