It has been announced that TV Asahi will be launching a children's program on Sunday mornings from April 5th. The 30-minute program will air from 8am and is titled "Go! Star! Tobida School." The viewer-participation program is based on the concept of valuing children's individuality, curiosity, and the joy of expression, and will be set in an exciting class at a "mysterious school on a certain planet."
The show will be hosted by the three-person YouTuber unit "Takeshita Paradise," a popular group of "Harajuku creators" among children, and influencer Shinako, and will also feature "MADAMADA," a six-person group born from a kids' group audition project organized by Airi DX of "Takeshita Paradise." The children will have fun with projects such as makeup, dancing, and cooking.
Airi DX said enthusiastically, "Until now, we have been promoting the importance of valuing what you love, regardless of age, gender, or title. We hope that through this program we can convey the joy of self-expression."
Shinako said, "I want to make this a program that will have a positive influence on children! I love dancing, so I'd like to try a project that allows people to enjoy music and dance."
TV Asahi producer Echigo Keisuke commented, "Together with Takeshita Paradise, Shinako, and the children from MADAMADA, we hope to make Sunday mornings sparkling, cute, and energetic! The program title, 'Go! With the Stars! Tobida School,' contains messages like, 'Find your own star quality and get started!' and 'Stand out from the crowd and freely express what you like!' Based on the concept of a 'mysterious school on a certain planet,' we hope to provide many lessons that viewers' children can participate in with excitement and fun, so please look forward to it!"
In addition, the TV anime "Koupen-chan" will be broadcast for one minute starting at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday.
