It has been announced that the latest installment of the popular program, "Celebrity Rating Check BASIC Spring 3.5 Hour Special" (ABC TV), in which celebrities undergo tests that they are "supposed to get right," will be broadcast nationwide from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm on March 28th.
While the New Year's Day "Rating Check" aims to identify first-class products, this year's "BASIC" tests whether the entertainers understand "common sense." Everyone starts off as a first-class entertainer, but if they get it wrong, they're ranked down to normal, second-rate, third-rate, and look-alike, and if they fall to the bottom, they're deemed "not worth showing" and disappear from the screen.
A total of 18 top entertainers will be appearing this time. Actor Toshiaki Karasawa, who was deemed "not worth showing" on the 2020 fall show "Ranking," confidently stated of his mistake at the time, "It was a deliberate move."
First-time contestants include Nagisa Katahira, Issei Takahashi, Anne Nakamura, Daisuke Miura, Sho Nakata, Yoshizumi Ishihara, Matt Rose, Mei Hata , Mirai Shida, and Miku Ichinose from Nogizaka46. Nakata, who retired from active baseball last year, expressed confidence in the food-related checks, saying, "A professional baseball player's body is their capital. I spend over 100 million yen on food."
