Actor Ken Mitsuishi will appear on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), airing on June 25th at 1 PM.
At the age of 16, while still in high school, she auditioned and the following year made her debut as the lead in the film "Hakata-kko Junjo" (1978). Things went smoothly for a while, but in her 30s, she had no work and experienced a period of struggling in the industry.
Around that time, her mother, whom she had worried about, passed away at the age of 60 before she could become a successful actress. Meanwhile, her father is still alive and well at 93. Apparently, they even co-starred in a movie three years ago. And now, Kuroyanagi has a message from her father.
