The sixth episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama "The Royal Family" (Sundays at 9:00 PM), starring Satoshi Tsumabuki, aired on November 16th. The relationship between Yuriko (Koichi Sato), daughter of Sanno Kozo (Nagisa Sekimizu), and Ryujiro Saki (Mahiro Takasugi), the jockey who rides Royal Hope, became a hot topic on social media.

In episode 5, Yuriko and Saki were at a drinking party when trainer Hironaka (played by Masanobu Ando) said to them, "You two are perfect mates, why don't you just go out together?" Viewers were also paying attention to the relationship between the two, with comments like "They're getting on well" and "They should just go out together already!"
In episode 6, Yuriko and Saki both visit Kozo (Koichi Sato). With Kurisu (Tsumabuki) also present, Saki bows seriously and says, "Please approve my marriage to Yuriko. I beg you!" Kozo is surprised, saying, "This young man far exceeds our expectations," to which Saki responds, "If I win the Arima Kinen, please let us marry."
When Yuriko tells Kozo that they will soon be talking to his mother Kyoko (Kuroki Hitomi) about their marriage, Kozo says, "I'll tell you, there are people in this world who don't like horses. Let me convince you with the results," and doesn't object to the marriage. Kozo then leaves the room alone, beaming with joy.
On social media, people were talking about the story, saying things like, "I thought Yuriko and Ryujiro were getting along well, and sure enough, I was right," "Saki and Yuriko make a great couple," "Ryujiro and Yuriko are a perfect match," "I thought President Kozo was crying, but he was smiling. He must have been happy," "Isn't there a spin-off somewhere about how they first started dating and the proposal?" and "Let's do a spin-off about how Saki and Yuriko met."
The story is based on the novel of the same name by Kazuma Hayami. Kurisu admired her father, who was a tax accountant, and followed in his footsteps, but she experienced setbacks and lost hope. However, her life takes a major turn when she meets Kozo Sanno, a horse owner.
