It was produced by Studio Dorian, of which Oshiyama is the representative. The fact that Yuumi Kawai and Mizuki Yoshida played Fujino and Kyomoto, respectively, also attracted attention. The film was released on June 28, 2024, and won numerous awards, including the Best Animated Feature Award at the 48th Japan Academy Awards.
