Model and actor Natsuki Deguchi has been appointed as the image character for Meiji's winter-only chocolate confectionery "Meltykiss," and new graphics have been released.
The catchphrase for the new graphic is "You'll fall in love." Deguchi's clear smile in a white outfit is striking, creating a visual that makes you feel the "coming of winter."
The new commercial, "Winter Meeting," starring Deguchi, has also been released. It depicts a winter day "meeting," and shows Deguchi getting tired of waiting for a friend to show up, burying his face in his scarf, looking lonely, and crouching down in the cold under a clock tower.
Deguchi is 24 years old and was born on October 4, 2001, in China. He is an actor and an exclusive model for "non-no" (Shueisha), and co-stars with Sara Minami in the film "All Greens," which is scheduled for release in 2026.
