Actress Suzu Hirose attended the Fujifilm "instax" new product launch event held in Tokyo on January 7th. When asked about her aspirations for 2026, she said, "I'll also be performing on stage this year, so I want to do my best and take care of my health."
This year, Hirose said, "I hope to continue working hard at my own pace as usual, in a good way. I want to enjoy my work and the time to relax so that I can work hard at my job at the same pace as usual." She added, "I usually do a lot of video work, but this year I'll also be doing stage performances, so I want to take care of my health and do my best."
Actor Ryusei Yokohama also attended the event, and said about this year, "Last year was a turning point for me, as the taiga drama ended, and I think there will be many new challenges, so I hope to keep my spirits up and work hard."
Hirose and Yokohama appeared in the company's new commercial, "Let's Capture New Year's 2026: Mochitsuki with Instax, the Fateful Mochi Pounding," and its sequel. At the event, they showed off the new product, the "instax mini Evo Cinema," a "Mochitsuki that can also shoot videos," by taking 15-second videos together on a candy store set.
The commercial also stars actors Ryo Yoshizawa and Toshinori Omi. Hirose films Yoshizawa training in pounding rice cakes under Omi's guidance using the new product, which will be released on January 30, 2026. Yokohama, who is reluctant to enter a local rice cake pounding competition because he doesn't have a good partner, introduces him to Yoshizawa by handing him an Instax print. A sequel commercial began airing on January 7th.
