New cast members for the sequel to the popular TBS Sunday drama "VIVANT" (Sundays at 9 PM), starring actor Masato Sakai, which will begin airing on July 26th, were revealed on June 16th.
The first cast announcement for the second season revealed that actress Kyoko Miyashita and Tanapak Jongjaiphar, who is active in Thailand and also known by his nickname OHM, will be appearing in the show.
Miyashita began her theatrical career in 1998. In the same year, she made her stage debut in NODA・MAP's "Rolling Stone." Utilizing the physicality she cultivated through classical ballet, she has appeared in numerous stage productions ranging from straight plays to physical theater, and is also active in a wide range of fields including film, television dramas, and modeling.
Ohm made his acting debut in 2016. In 2022, he received high praise for his comical and memorable portrayal of the protagonist's best friend in the hit Thai BL drama "I Will Knock You."
The roles of the two characters have not yet been revealed, but it is said that they will be figures who will have a significant impact on the protagonist, Yusuke Nogi (played by Sakai), and it is unclear whether they will be allies or enemies.
