The official trailer for "Rascal Does Not Dream of Dear Friend," the theatrical anime film adaptation of the popular light novel series "Rascal Does Not Dream "(Dengeki Rascal Does Not Dream" anime series.
A special visual is scheduled to be released on June 16th, and a large special visual will be displayed on the exterior wall of Bic Camera Fujisawa store (Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture).
The "Rascal Does Not Dream" series is a light novel written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keiji Mizoguchi, with "adolescent syndrome," a condition that occurs during adolescence, as its key theme. The original novels have sold over 3 million copies in total.
The TV anime "Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai" aired from October to December 2018. The theatrical anime "Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl" was released in June 2019, "Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid" was released on December 1st of the same year. The TV anime "Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus," based on the "College Student Arc," aired from July to September 2025. "Rascal Does Not Dream Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend" will be released on October 16th.
