Kyohei Takahashi of the popular group " Naniwa Danshi " appeared at a stage greeting event held in Tokyo on June 15th for the film "Yamaguchi-kun is Not Bad" (directed by Kentaro Moriya), which was held to give a sneak peek of summer youth.
When asked what she wanted to do this summer, Takahashi chuckled and said, "I'd like to stay home and do nothing." She added, "I've started to worry about getting a tan. I'm naturally dark-skinned, so I've started wearing sunscreen. I think staying home is the best way to spend the summer."
Meanwhile, Yoji Iwase, an outdoorsy type, invited Takahashi to go surfing, but Takahashi refused, saying he wanted to stay indoors and build up his stamina.
Hikaru Takahashi, Juri Kosaka, Amane Uehara, and director Moriya also appeared on stage for the greeting.
The film is based on the manga of the same name by Yu Saiki, which is serialized in the shojo manga magazine "Bessatsu Friend" (Kodansha). It is a coming-of-age love story between Satsuki, who longs to experience a typical high school life, and Yamaguchi, a tough-looking transfer student who speaks in a Kansai dialect.
