It has been announced that Season 2 of the TV anime "Sasaki to Pi-chan," based on the light novel from MF Bunko J (KADOKAWA), will begin airing in October. Ibe Yuji will serve as director, Ouchi Yamato as assistant director, Akao Deco will be in charge of series composition, and Nakashiki Saori will be in charge of character design. SILVER LINK. will produce the anime, as with the first season.
New visuals and a promotional video have been released. The visual shows Abaddon's hand reaching out from behind the neighbors, Sasaki and P-chan.
"Sasaki and Pi-chan" is a light novel written by Bunkorori and illustrated by Kantoku. The story follows Sasaki, a middle-aged "corporate slave" working for a small trading company, who buys a Java sparrow from a pet shop only to discover it's a renowned sage reincarnated from another world. Sasaki is given the opportunity to travel between worlds and powerful magical abilities by the adorable sage. In the anime adaptation, Tomokazu Sugita voices Sasaki and Aoi Yuki voices Pi-chan. The first season aired from January to March 2024.
