The ninth episode of the TBS Friday drama "Takusari Brothers" (Fridays at 10 PM), starring actor Masaki Okada and also featuring Shota Sometani, aired on June 12th, and viewers were moved to tears by the lines spoken by Mogi (Takashi Yamanaka), nicknamed "Mocchan," in a flashback scene.

In episode 9, Makoto (Okada) and Minoru (Someya) track down the whereabouts of the Karashima couple who have left their home. Fumi (Sendo Atsuko) reveals that Mogi "disposed of" the Tagasari couple with the "help" of Sasaoka (Yanagi Yurei), who was a detective.
Fumi, who knew nothing of what was going on, overheard a conversation between Mogi and her husband, Sadao (Hidekazu Nagae), at the Chinese restaurant "Mocchan" several years later. Mogi pleaded tearfully, "I can't take it anymore. Look at this. Minoru gave it to me. He asked me to come to the next school open house. Sadao, please, let me turn myself in."
Sadao tries to persuade Mogi by saying, "What will happen to your mother? What will happen when she finds out that her son is a murderer? If you keep quiet, no one will get hurt. It's for everyone's sake. You understand, right?" Then, Fumi tells Makoto and Minoru that the money for her leg surgery was obtained illegally and that Mogi has regretted it all this time.
