It has been revealed that the light novel "The Person I Fell in Love With Said to Die in My Sister's Place" from TO Books' women's label "Celica" will be made into an anime.
The story is a fantasy love story between a lonely former noblewoman and a genius nobleman. Wisteria, a former noblewoman who has become the guardian of a poisonous other world in place of her sister, is approached by Lloyd, a man who looks exactly like her first love. Lloyd is the son of Wisteria's first love, and has come to seek Wisteria's companion, Saltis, a holy sword that can understand words, as proof of his marriage proposal to the princess. Wisteria defeats Lloyd with her own magic and tells him to "return to your own world," but he ends up staying, saying, "In order to defeat you, I will take you as my apprentice!"
