The first episode of the TV anime "Arne's Case Files," based on the popular mystery game, aired on Nippon TV late at night on January 6th, with a shocking twist: the death of Louis Hartmann, one of the three main characters. The series features three main characters: Arne Neunator, a "legendary vampire" who runs a detective business; Lynn Reinweiss, a noblewoman and vampire otaku who partners with Arne; and Louis, an original character for the anime. The first key visual, featuring Louis as the main character, has been released. The catchphrase that accompanied the first key visual, "Doubt everything," was brought back in the first episode. Mariya Ise will be the voice actor for Louis.
Following the conclusion of the first episode, the second key visual was released. The catchphrase has changed from "Doubt everything" to "Dance happily," and the visual now focuses on Arne and Rin. Lewis is also depicted, but has receded into the background.
The second trailer for the series, depicting the episode that led to Arne and Rin's first meeting, "The Reinweiss Family Murder Case," has been released on YouTube. Popular characters such as Rin, who asks Arne to solve the murder that occurred at her childhood home, the suspected Reinweiss family servants, Jische, the werewolf boy in the mirror, Nachtzerer, one of the nine vampire kings, and Amy, the necromancer who dotes on Rin, are featured in the trailer, as well as a secret character, the yet-to-be-announced Phantom Thief Little Red Riding Hood, who only appears in silhouette.
"Arne's Case Files" is a mystery game created by the game production team "Harumurasaki" and was released in November 2017. The mismatched buddy duo of Arne Neunter, a "legendary vampire" who runs a detective agency in Rügenberg, a city inhabited by strange creatures, and Lynn Reinweiss, the daughter of a prestigious aristocrat whose hobby is vampire otaku, get to the bottom of the mysterious and bizarre cases that occur one after another.
The anime will be directed by Keisuke Inoue and produced by SILVER LINK. Koki Uchiyama and Aimi Tanaka will play the adult and boy versions of Arne, who runs a detective agency. Yuka Nukui will appear as Rin.
