To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Hiro Mashima's popular manga "FAIRY TAIL," a new illustration has been released. Mashima has drawn the main characters Natsu, Lucy, Erza, Gray, and more.
A pop-up store commemorating the 20th anniversary will be open from Getsuku to 20th at MAKE THE STAGE on the 5th floor of Laforet Harajuku (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo).
"FAIRY TAIL" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha) from 2006 to 2017. It depicts the growth of the members of the wizards' guild Fairy Tail, including the protagonist Natsu Dragneel, a dragon slayer who controls fire, and the heroine Lucy Heartfilia, as they solve various requests. The first series of the TV anime aired from 2009 to 2013, the second series from 2014 to 2016, and the final season from 2018 to 2019.
A sequel, "FAIRY TAIL 100 YEARS QUEST," with storyboards by Mashima and illustrations by Atsuo Ueda, has been serialized on Kodansha's online manga service, Magapoke, since July 2018. The sequel was also adapted into a TV anime series, airing from July 2024 to January 2025.
