On March 17th, Miku Tanaka, a talent known as the "Reiwa Gravure Venus," appeared at the red carpet event and stage greeting for the film "#I'llTellYouTheTruth" (released April 25th, directed by Keisuke Toyoshima) held at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills (Minato Ward, Tokyo).
Appearing in a black dress made of sheer material, Tanaka commented, "After I finished watching this movie, I was left with this feeling: 'What is this feeling?' I thought this movie really dragged me along after I finished watching it. It was as if the movie was asking me questions. I think everyone who finishes watching it will probably drag it along with them until they die."
When co-star Fuma Kikuchi commented, "That's heavy (laughs)! It's true that the theme is not light," he responded, "I think it will be very positive for your life."
The film is an adaptation of the short story collection of the same name (Shincho Bunko) by mystery writer Shinichiro Yuki. It depicts the story of speakers hoping to get rich quick exposing shocking "truths" in order to gain tips on the viewer-participation live-streaming exposé channel "#I'llTellYouTheTruth." Motoki Omori of the three-person rock band " Mrs. Green Apple " and Kikuchi co-star. Tanaka plays an office lady who is in need of a lot of money and is looking for a sugar daddy.
Also appearing at the event that day were Omori, Ayami Nakajo, Amane Okayama, Riko Fukumoto, Kentaro Ito, Shuntaro Yanagi, Kyoko Saito, Hideaki Ito, and director Keisuke Toyoshima. Despite it being a weekday, the event attracted a cast of popular actors, and the lottery draw for participation was said to have been about 140 times more popular.
