Fuma Kikuchi of "timelesz," who is also the talk of the town for their new lineup, appeared at the red carpet event and stage greeting for the film "#I'llTellYouTheTruth" (released April 25th, directed by Keisuke Toyoshima) held at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills (Minato Ward, Tokyo) on March 17th.
Kikuchi co-starred with Motoki Omori of the three-person rock band " Mrs. Green Apple ." He said, "This is my first time starring in a movie, so I'm really grateful to have had the opportunity to co-star with Omori-kun. There are many people who couldn't be here today, but I'm really grateful for this wonderful opportunity to be on this stage with such a wonderful cast."
In this work, he also co-starred with Yoshitaka Hara, a member of timelesz. When Hara, who appeared at the event with him, was about to give away the secret, Kikuchi immediately commented, "Isn't that dangerous?" When Hara got on his knees to apologize, Kikuchi again commented, "Don't do the Korean-style dogeza (lol)!"
Afterwards, Hara made an incomprehensible statement, "Even short lines can be foreshadowing, so I'll just 'walk with my ears open'...", leaving his co-stars confused. Kikuchi was at a loss and replied, "We'll discuss it as a group..."
The film is an adaptation of the short story collection of the same name (Shincho Bunko) by mystery writer Shinichiro Yuki. It depicts the story of speakers hoping to get rich quick exposing shocking "truths" in order to win tips on the viewer-participation live-streaming exposé channel "#TruthIWillTellYou". Kikuchi plays Kiriyama, a security guard who is in debt and at rock bottom, and Omori plays Suzuki, a mysterious man who develops a friendship with Kiriyama.
Also appearing at the event that day were Omori, Ayami Nakajo, Amane Okayama, Riko Fukumoto, Kentaro Ito, Shuntaro Yanagi, Miku Tanaka, Kyoko Saito Ito, and director Keisuke Toyoshima. With such a cast of popular actors, the event's participation lottery odds were about 140 to 1.
