It has been announced that WOWOW will be broadcasting live the "Orchestral Concert 2025 ~The Symphonic Sessions~" to be held by violinist Taro Hakase at Tokyo International Forum Hall A (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) on May 11th. The concert will be broadcast on WOWOW Prime from 2pm on the same day, and streamed on WOWOW On Demand.
Hakase debuted as a violinist for the musical group "Kreizler & Company" in 1990, and this year marks the 35th anniversary of the group's debut. The first tour in three years, "Orchestral Concert 2025 ~The Symphonic Sessions~", will kick off on March 22 at the Omiya Sonic City Large Hall (Omiya Ward, Saitama City) and will hold 20 performances in 16 cities across the country.
The orchestra concert was first held in 2021, and this year will be the third time it is held in celebration of the anniversary year. Unlike the previous two times, which were held during the COVID-19 pandemic, this time the orchestra and Hakaze will perform on stage in an open atmosphere. WOWOW will broadcast live the performance on May 11, the final day of the tour.
In addition to the live broadcast, WOWOW has been airing a special feature on Hakaze for four consecutive months from December 2024 to March 2025, and will be adding another program to its lineup in April.

The concert "Hakase Taro Best Acoustic Tour "Etopirika"" was held at NHK Hall (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) on December 21st, 2014, and will be broadcast on WOWOW Live at 11:30 am on March 30th and 7 pm on April 8th, and streamed on WOWOW On Demand.
"Hakase Taro Concert Tour 2011 - The Best of Hakase Taro" is a concert held at the same NHK Hall on December 18, 2011, and will be broadcast on WOWOW Live at 2:00 pm on March 30 and 9:30 pm on April 8, and streamed on WOWOW On Demand.
"Taro Hakase Concert Tour 2017 'VIOLINISM III'" is a concert held at Tokyo International Forum Hall A on December 27, 2017, and will be broadcast on WOWOW Live from 2:30 pm on April 13, and streamed on WOWOW On Demand.
"Taro Hakase Concert Tour 2019 'Dal Segno ~Story of My Life'" was held at Tokyo International Forum Hall A on December 26, 2019, and will be broadcast on WOWOW Live and streamed on WOWOW On Demand from 5:15 pm on April 13.
Each program will be archived and available for one month after it is broadcast.
