Shosen Book Tower, a popular bookstore in Akihabara, Tokyo, has announced its light novel sales ranking for December 2025, with the top spot going to the second volume of "Behind the Battle between the Demon King and the Hero 7" (Overlap Bunko). This is a full-scale fantasy war chronicle about a minor character struggling behind the scenes of a legend.
In second place was the second volume of "Love the Tyrant" (DRE Novels), and "Blueprint of a Daydream" (Sneaker Bunko) came in third.
