To commemorate the broadcast of the third season of the TV anime "Oshi no Ko," based on the popular manga serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha), a video titled "Looking Back: A Retrospective of All Theme Songs" has been released on YouTube, featuring all the theme songs from seasons one to three.
"Oshi no Ko " is a popular manga written by Aka Akasaka , who also wrote " Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, " and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari , who also wrote " Scum's Wish ." It was serialized in Weekly Young Jump from April 2020 to November 2024. It tells the story of twin siblings left behind by the sudden death of a genius idol named Ai. The younger twin, Ruby, admires her mother and enters the entertainment industry, while the older brother, Aqua, vows to take revenge on their biological father, who is believed to have accomplices in Ai's murder. The comic has sold over 25 million copies worldwide.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2023, and the second season from July to October 2024. The live-action adaptation has also been a hot topic. The third season will air on TOKYO MX and 36 other stations nationwide from 11:00 PM on January 14th.
