Voice actress and singer Kiyono Yasuno held the Tokyo performance of her live tour "Kiyono Yasuno 5th LIVE Tour 2025 ~Until Our Rain Stops~" at Toyosu PIT (Koto Ward, Tokyo) on January 11th. The tour was in support of her fourth mini-album "Until the Rain Stops," produced by singer-songwriter Kohei Dojima, who has written many of Yasuno's songs, and Dojima served as bandmaster.
The concert began with "I Hate Tragedy," and the audience got excited right from the start by waving their towels. After singing the second song, "Alien Boy," Yasuno said to the fans, "These are the first two songs of the new year. Everyone, the performance was so cool it was electrifying!", which elicited loud applause and cheers.
Dojima said, "As we go on tour, the band is gradually becoming more united," and Yasuno said, "Today's live performance will be one where you can fully immerse yourself in the Dojima Kohei style, so please come along!" as they performed a song written by Dojima.
He also sang his latest single "Algorithm," released last November, and got the crowd excited by saying, "Today is the biggest venue of the tour, so please feel free to give it your all!"
In the segment "Tell me! Dojima Sensei," where Dojima solves the worries and questions of band members, a question was posed: "What's our band name?" It's customary for Anno to decide the band name midway through a tour, and Dojima suggested "Bokuame Band," changing the characters "Bokuame" (Boku Ame) from the tour and mini-album title to "Bokuame" (Boku Ame), but this was rejected, so he suggested "Freddies" or "The Freddie," taken from the title of the mini-album track "Freddie." The final decision was left to the applause of the fans, and the band name was decided to be "The Freddie."
She also performed "Rocket Beat," the familiar opening theme to "Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Arc," and "Wonder Shot," a particularly popular live staple among Dojima's songs. "For the last song, I want to make it a song that everyone can sing along to with a smile," she said, singing "CUS -see you soon-."
During the encore, Yasuno and Dojima sang "Tsurami Genzai Shinkou Tei" by Walküre, the song that first brought them together. Dojima commented, "I think my song shone because of Yasuno's vocals, and I'm truly grateful. Thank you for making music!" Yasuno responded with a delighted "I hope that you will continue to support me in discovering wonderful songs in the future, if you'd like."
The concert concluded with "Ikiru," the ending theme of "Sounan Desu Ka?", and Yasuno said, "There's just one thing I want to say at today's concert! Make 2026 a great year for everyone!" The tour will also be held at Sendai Rensa (Aoba Ward, Sendai City) on January 17th and at BIGCAT (Chuo Ward, Osaka City) on February 1st.
