It has been announced that the latest TV anime series in the popular Gundam series, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX, will be broadcast on 30 Nippon Television affiliates every Tuesday at 12:29am starting April 8th, and will be streamed on Amazon's Prime Video video streaming service from 1am on April 9th. It will then be streamed and aired on various video streaming services from 10pm on April 11th, and on BS11 from 7pm on April 12th.
"Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" is also a hot topic as it is the first collaboration between Sunrise, which is responsible for the "Gundam" series, and khara, known for the "Evangelion" series. Ahead of the broadcast of the TV anime series, a pre-release movie version that reconstructed some episodes began screening on January 17th. In the 59 days since its release, it has been a hit, grossing 3.19 billion yen and attracting over 1.93 million viewers.
