It has been announced that a live performance by Japan's leading ska band, "Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra," held in July 2002, and their 35th debut anniversary live performance (scheduled for March 20th) will be broadcast and streamed on WOWOW in April and May. In June, a program compiling Skapara's music videos into two parts will also be aired. The special feature will be running for three consecutive months, conveying the appeal of Skapara.
In April, they will broadcast and stream "DOWN BEAT ARENA," which was held at Yokohama Arena (Kohoku-ku, Yokohama) in July 2002. Skapara, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2000, released a trilogy of songs featuring male singers from 2001 to 2002. The concert, which features Tajima, Chiba, and Okuda, is highly regarded as a legendary live performance among fans and music industry professionals. It will be broadcast and streamed on WOWOW Live and WOWOW On Demand from 9:00 pm on April 5th.
In May, they will broadcast and stream the final stage of their 35th debut anniversary tour, "DOWN BEAT ARENA PART2" (March 20th, Yokohama Arena), which began in January this year. The final program in June will introduce music videos from their debut to the present. The first and second parts will showcase the charms of Skapara, including their hit song "Hinotama Jive" and the song trilogy.
