After his divorce, Hachimura continued to meet and interact with Kota, who was living with his ex-wife, Kudo Saori (Fueki Yuko).
One day, Hachimura's work took longer than expected and he couldn't make it to his appointment with Kota, so he contacted him and said, "I'm really sorry."
Hachimura left the work he had been working on to his colleague and was about to leave the child consultation center when Kota came in. "How long are you going to keep working? Work, work. Isn't it because you kept breaking promises like that that you got divorced!?" Kota pointed out, and Hachimura looked surprised.
"If things continue like this, Mom might remarry..." Kota witnesses Saori having fun with a man at a family restaurant.
Hachimura said, "Kota, I'm really sorry for breaking my promise. But I don't think it's a bad thing for your mother to remarry. I'm sure she's thinking about you, since it's your mother."
"Huh? What's that about? If it carries on like this, we might not even have visiting days anymore. So when you said you wanted to live together again, that was a lie too! Whatever," Kota said, slumping his shoulders and walking away.
Afterwards, Hachimura faced Kota again. "Dad, Kota is the most important to me! I love you. That will never change no matter what happens, and it will never change in the future!" he said, looking almost in tears as he expressed his love.
Kota burst into tears and hugged Hachimura, saying, "I'd never forgive him for not keeping his promises, but he's doing an important job and saving someone's family. I hate my job, but it's cool. So I think it's fine for him to just keep working."
On social media, the film garnered attention with comments such as, "Shunsuke Kazama and Miura Kira's acting was amazing!", "Miura Kira will definitely become a great actor," and "Miura Kira's facial expressions were perfect, I had to rewind the video several times."
Miura played the role of Meiku's son, played by Yukino Kishii, in the drama series "#LookingForFamily" (TBS), which aired in 2021. On social media, there were comments such as, "Miura Kira is getting bigger," and "Miura Kira has a cute face. I first saw him on "Looking For Family," but he's really grown up."
The drama is set in a seaside child consultation center and depicts Natsui Tsubasa (played by Fukuhara) as a new child welfare officer who faces various children and parents and grows together with them. This will be Fukuhara's first lead role in a "Getsuku" drama.
