The 94th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan " (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 AM and other times), starring Mio Imada , was broadcast on August 7th, and viewers were drawn to the words that Takuya Ise(Motoki Omori) said to Taka (Takumi Kitamura).
In episode 94, Taka tells Nobu (Imada) that he wants to quit his job and devote himself to drawing manga. Nobu replies that he will fully support him, and Taka is filled with hope. Five years later, Taka is still working at Samsung Department Store. Although his earnings from his side job have stabilized, he is increasingly anxious about quitting.
One day, Taku happens to meet Takuya at a cafe. When they meet again after a long time, Takuya tells him that he was a taxi driver but was fired for singing while picking up passengers. "But it's okay. From now on, I'm going to make a living from music," he declares. "Everyone makes fun of me, saying it's impossible," he complains, but he also talks about his passion for music.
Taka murmurs, "You've given me courage," and asks Takuya, "Do you know Astro Boy?" Taka confesses his honest feelings, "I was overwhelmed by the talent of this young manga artist and became jealous. If someone like this came along, there was no way I could win."
Takuya then said, "You're a strong person if you can say, 'I was jealous.'" "You have to be really strong to admit your weakness like that." When Taka replied, "Thank you," Takuya continued, "Well, whether you have talent or not is a different matter."
Encouraged by Takuya's words, that night Taku tells Nobu once again of his determination to focus solely on manga. Nobu encourages him, saying, "I'll support you with all my might, so just give it your all."
In response to Takuya's line, "You're a strong person if you can say, 'I was jealous,'" comments were posted on social media such as, "Takuya's words really touched me," "They really touched my heart," "I'll live my life with this mindset," "These are wonderful words that give me the courage to never give up," and "They're so like Motoki Omori that I've been crying since this morning."
