Voice actress Masako Nozawa made a surprise appearance in the ninth episode of Fuji TV's "Monday 9" drama "119 Emergency Call" (Monday 9pm), which aired on March 17th. The story is set in a fire department's communications command center, and Nozawa was in charge of the "voice of the caller," playing an elderly woman who lives near a house caught in a landslide.
Voice actors Tanaka Hideyuki, Takagi Katsuhisa, and Kuwashima Houko also appeared in the scene. Tanaka played the chairman of the neighborhood association in the area hit by the landslide, Takagi played a man trapped in his house by the landslide, and Kuwashima played a woman whose husband collapses at home and calls 119. Before the broadcast of episode 9, it was announced that voice actor Hiroshi Kamiya would be in charge of the "voice of the caller," and it was revealed during the broadcast that a star-studded cast of voice actors including Nozawa, Tanaka, Takagi, and Kuwashima would be appearing.
The film is an original story set in the communications command center of a fire department, depicting the "real" lives of command and control personnel. Nana Seino plays the lead role of Yuki Kasuhara, a command and control officer who goes her own way within the organization.
