On March 17th, footage of the wrap-up of the TV drama " The Hot Spot " (Nippon TV, Sundays 10:30pm), in which Akihiro Kakuta of the comedy trio "Tokyo 03" plays an alien, was released.
The three childhood friends who starred in the film, Mikako Ichikawa, Suzuki Anne, and Hiraiwa Kami, were the first to finish filming in tears. The final scene was in Room 301, which was rumored to be haunted. When a real ghost (Urajinuno) appeared, Takahashi shouted, "You know, I'm an alien, you know?" and overpowered the ghost, which marked the end of filming.
Kakuta commented with a smile, "I was really lucky to be able to appear in such an interesting and fun drama. Thank you so much! I'm usually an old man with a bad back and knees, but thanks to everyone I was able to do something as an alien with special abilities, so I was really happy."
Then, the crowd chanted "Kakuta! Kakuta!", and Ichikawa, Suzuki, and Hiraiwa appeared. Kakuta was so surprised that he ran out of voice and shouted, "Were you waiting for me? I can't even cry!", which caused laughter on set.
The drama is a new work by Bakarhythm, who wrote the script for "Brush Up Life" (same station), and the production staff of the same drama. It is a "local alien human comedy" that begins when the main character encounters an alien.
