The August light novel sales rankings of Shosen Book Tower, a popular bookstore in Akihabara, Tokyo, were announced, and the top spot went to the 6th volume of "The Man I Fell in Love With Said to Die for My Sister" (TO Books). This popular work was also chosen as the top novel in the paperback/novels category of the magazine "This Light Novel is Amazing! 2024" (Takarajimasha), which lists the most popular light novels of the year.
The 1st place was "Ascendance of a Bookworm: Hannelore's Fifth Year at the Noble Academy" (TO Books), and the 3rd place was "Rascal Does Not Dream of a Girlfriend" (Dengeki Bunko).
