The ninth episode of the TV anime series Too Many Losing Heroines!, based on a light novel from Shogakukan Gagaga Bunko (Shogakukan), entitled “Think of the teacher as a stain on the ceiling or something, and continue reading,” will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and other stations from late September 7th.
The theme of the Literature Club’s exhibition at the Tsuwabuki Festival has been decided to be “Eating Reading,” and Nukumizu and Komari are preparing for it. While stopping by the library to return reference materials, they spot Tamaki and Koto on a date. Komari feels lonely that they can no longer spend time together after confessing her feelings to Tamaki, and decides to insist on preparing the manuscript for the exhibition by herself.
The series is a light novel written by Amemori Takibi and illustrated by Imigimuru. It also attracted attention when it was selected for the Gagaga Award at the 15th Shogakukan Light Novel Awards. The story depicts the slapstick coming-of-age story of loser heroines (McCains) including the gluttonous childhood friend-type heroine Yanami Anna, the energetic sports-type heroine Yakishio Lemon, and the shy small animal-type heroine Komari Chika. The anime is directed by Kitamura Shotaro and produced by A-1 Pictures. It is currently airing on TOKYO MX and other stations.
