Actor Manami Higa will appear on the talk show "Oshare Clip" (Nippon TV, Sunday 10pm) on August 3rd. Although she has an image of being a cool, good student, she reveals that she has a "very mischievous side." Speaking about her childhood, where she said she "was always restless and always wanted excitement," she recounts memories of climbing trees on the way to and from school and going to the beach in her uniform.
She also said that she once sought love advice from actress Miyuki Matsuda, whom she regards as a mother, who told her to "spit out your weaknesses, spit them out." Looking back on her school days, Higa said that despite having exceptional athletic ability, she did not belong to any particular club, but instead created her own club and was active in it, to which MC Ikusaburo Yamazaki exclaimed in surprise, "Is that okay!?"
He had aspired to enter the entertainment industry, but his family opposed it. However, his father, who is usually quiet, showed such unexpected behavior that it made him "even more determined." Now, 20 years later, he can finally speak of his parents' true feelings, and Higa is moved to tears by the letter from his father.
