It has been revealed that Kurt and Max, characters from the anime "Galaxy Express Milky Subway," will be featured on the cover of the special edition of issue 2473 of the magazine "anan" (Magazine House), which will be released on November 26th. The cover features Kurt and Max in their loungewear, which is a first for them to be seen playing a game.
"Galaxy Express Milky☆Subway" is a sequel to the short 3D animation "Milky☆Highway," which was released on YouTube in 2022 as a graduation project by Yohei Kameyama, who was a student at a video school at the time. The series has been broadcast on television since July and is also available on YouTube, where it has gained popularity. It has also been announced that a re-edited version of all 12 episodes, including new parts, will be released in theaters.
This issue features background checks on Kurt and Max, kept by Dawes & Smith Defense Services in the series. This reveals top-secret information not even revealed in the anime, such as their birth dates, academic background, career history, notes written by staff, and past appearances. It also includes a Q&A with voice actors Koki Uchiyama and Yoshio Yamatani, who play Kurt and Max, as well as comments from Director Kameyama.
The special edition comes with a special bonus: "To the Ends of the Galaxy! Heart-Pounding Meteor Stickers." In addition to cover-style cuts of the three pairs, Chiharu & Makina, Akane & Kanata, and Kurt & Max, each carrying the "anan" logo, the lineup also includes famous scenes from the anime, logos of companies in the series such as Titan Corporation, and logos of clothing worn by characters.
