41-year-old actor Terunobu Shinoyama will appear on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will be broadcast at 1:00 pm on November 21st. Terunobu is the second son of photographer Kishin Shinoyama, who passed away on January 4th last year at the age of 83.
Terunobu says that the only private occasions when his father, Kishin, photographed him were his coming-of-age ceremony and wedding. In addition to showcasing the "amazing" photos from the ceremony, he also looks back on memories of his father's playful side in private and the last happy moments he spent with his father. His father was photographed right up until the day he passed away, and it seems that visiting the set cheered him up.
Terunobu watched a video of his father appearing on the show when he was 39 years old, and was deeply moved by the fact that he looked younger than he is now, even before he was born.
