Singer Ayumi Hamasaki will appear on NHK's music program "SONGS" (General TV, 10pm) on June 26th. This will be the first time that Hamasaki has appeared on the program in 10 years. The program will cover her first Hong Kong performance in 17 years, which took place on June 14th. We will take a closer look at Hamasaki's unknown true face and what she is up to now.
Hamasaki holds the still unbroken record as Japan's best-selling female solo artist of all time, with total CD sales exceeding 50 million, and as an icon symbolizing the times, her every move continues to draw attention.
The program will feature rare footage rarely seen in the media, including not only the live performance, but also the uncompromising rehearsal from her arrival in Hong Kong, and the dinner the live members had on the day before the concert to strengthen unity, giving a glimpse into Hamasaki's true self and what she is up to now.
In the studio, they will perform three songs that were also performed at their Hong Kong concert: "INSPIRE," "Mirrorcle World," and "mimosa," with special production.
