" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobuyuki (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas and arrived at "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."

In episode 65, Nobu (Imada) comes to Kochi Shimpo relying on the business card of Tokairin (Kenjiro Tsuda) that was given to him at the black market. However, Tokairin seems to have no memory of it at all. As Nobu gives up and prepares to go home, Tokairin suggests that he take the company entrance exam. A few days later, after the written and practical exams, Nobu is interviewed. It is pointed out that he was once featured in an article as a model of patriotism, and he is questioned about whether his thoughts have changed that much.

Seeing the stern looks on his face from the interviewers, Nobu dropped his shoulders and left the room.... Cut scenes were also released.
